Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.

(Old Testament 1 Chronicles 16:22)

How long can rolling waters remain impure? What power shall stay the heavens? As well might man stretch forth his puny arm to stop the Missouri river in its decreed course, or to turn it up stream, as to hinder the Almighty from pouring down knowledge from heaven upon the heads of the Latter-day Saints.

(Doctrine and Covenants Section 121:33)

An old prophecy was time and again fulfilled today. For in expectation of one of our most solemn assemblies, which is the next general conference of the body of Christ or of the Church of Jesus Christ of latter day Saints; I just read an article that was sent to me by serial email, as written by one Miketea. Miketea, as he call himself, is a Mormonism Investigated UK apologetic that along his bodies, Bobby and Vicky Gilpin keep criticizing the priesthood of our GOD and more particularly, the prophets, seers and revelators of the Holy Church of GOD in fulfilling of the prophecies that say:

Wheresoever the body is, thither will the eagles be gathered together.

I read it; and in contemplation of the scriptures written in my heart, by Miketea’s own writing, it is not difficult for the least of us to notice and detect that like Jannes and Jambres who stood against Moses, Miketa and his associates, Bobby and Vicky Gilpin as they call themselves, are ever learning and never coming to a knowledge of the truth. They stand against the prophets and resist the truth of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints or those who we considered are prophets like unto Moses. The scriptures speak plainly about these high minded false accusers and despisers of those that are good; and I am here to manifest their folly so that the LORD willing, they will proceed no further. For of this it is written:

THIS know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith. But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as theirs also was.

These three individuals are a very malicious pack of ravenous wolves that cease not to feast upon our dead. They can’t have enough from us like the vultures or the birds of prey feast upon the carcasses.

But these, as natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of the things that they understand not; and shall utterly perish in their own corruption; And shall receive the reward of unrighteousness, as they that count it pleasure to riot in the day time.

Spots they are and blemishes, sporting themselves with their own deceivings while they feast with you; Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls: an heart they have exercised with covetous practices; cursed children: Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness;

These individuals of whom I am speaking are profiteers who dissect and brew our doctrines for a living are in a campaign of calumny and defamation that sooner or later will unleash a sequence of events that will bring about the next apocalypse.

This is the strange act of the LORD. And I am not here merely in a proselytizing mission as the elders or missionaries of our church expressly for proselytizing services or purposes. I do not write for entertainment purposes but to warn and to deliberately reprove the world and its ungodliness; and to bind their souls with the truth and to seal them up to everlasting burning. And belief or disbelief is not required for these things to be manifested because it is not a negotiation but a declaration of truth and an ultimatum to the wicked souls. It is not the LORD or his prophets integrity who is being proved here but the world’s. All I know is that I am over filled with the reprehension of the LORD like a bull in a net; and I have shares vested in his kingdom to act when his anger is kindled. And I do not plan what I will say for I do not carry purse or script. Everything I say is freshly given to me on the very moment and hour by the power of the Holy ghost and the scriptures I quote confirm the truth. For the LORD has spoken it saying:

HEARKEN, O ye people of my church, saith the voice of him who dwells on high, and whose eyes are upon all men; yea, verily I say: Hearken ye people from afar; and ye that are upon the islands of the sea, listen together.

For verily the voice of the Lord is unto all men, and there is none to escape; and there is no eye that shall not see, neither ear that shall not hear, neither heart that shall not be penetrated. And the rebellious shall be pierced with much sorrow; for their iniquities shall be spoken upon the housetops, and their secret acts shall be revealed.

And the voice of warning shall be unto all people, by the mouths of my disciples, whom I have chosen in these last days. And they shall go forth and none shall stay them, for I the Lord have commanded them.

Behold, this is mine authority, and the authority of my servants, and my preface unto the book of my commandments, which I have given them to publish unto you, O inhabitants of the earth.

Wherefore, fear and tremble, O ye people, for what I the Lord have decreed in them shall be fulfilled.

And verily I say unto you, that they who go forth, bearing these tidings unto the inhabitants of the earth, to them is power given to seal both on earth and in heaven, the unbelieving and rebellious; Yea, verily, to seal them up unto the day when the wrath of God shall be poured out upon the wicked without measure— Unto the day when the Lord shall come to recompense unto every man according to his work, and measure to every man according to the measure which he has measured to his fellow man.

Wherefore the voice of the Lord is unto the ends of the earth, that all that will hear may hear: Prepare ye, prepare ye for that which is to come, for the Lord is nigh; And the anger of the Lord is kindled, and his sword is bathed in heaven, and it shall fall upon the inhabitants of the earth.

Therefore, let no man among you, for this commandment is unto all the faithful who are called of God in the church unto the ministry, from this hour take purse or scrip, that goeth forth to proclaim this gospel of the kingdom.

Behold, I send you out to reprove the world of all their unrighteous deeds, and to teach them of a judgment which is to come.

This incredulous and wicked bunch of which I have been speaking appears to me more like vultures surrounding the body of the dead than ravenous wolves. For if you have eyes to read, you can also see that they feast in the carcass of our dead prophets eating and sniffing the dust of their feet in bitter Criticism of them just because they will not produce, or given them proof; or show unto them a sign or a dismaying and/or powerful manifestation of their apostolic and prophetic powers in a way they can hear, see, digest and understand. They claim because we have thus far ceased canonizing the word of our living and recently deceased prophets that no longer enjoy communion with heaven. And this is evidence that they believe but are unwilling to obey the voice and word of GOD both ancient and current. Little they know that Jesus Christ did during his mortal ministry so many deeds that the whole world would not be able to contain the books if we were to write everything the apostles have seen him do.

This is the disciple which testifieth of these things, and wrote these things: and we know that his testimony is true. And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen.

(New Testament John 21:24 - 25)

And likewise it is with us. We can barely cope with the mountain pile of revelation that our leaders receive that we let much of it be recorded by the angels of heaven.

I, Miguel Angel Tinoco Rodriguez, like Abraham, try to be a better follower of righteousness and I truly endeavor to keep all the Lord’s commandments and I am failing miserably in my endeavor because I depend on Christ in all things. I, even I, am the least of my brethren, even the weakest of the weak and if some can tell, I do receive revelation from heaven pretty much every day; and I cannot document everything despite my wishes.

Revelation comes in the form of dreams, of visions, of promptings, of spurs of intellect, in form of discernment, in form of scriptural application as I am now doing, in form of service, in form of angelic ministration, in form of all manner of gifts of the spirit, in form of ability to discern, operations and administrations and the power to understand words of wisdom; and in many other ways. The heavens are truly upon and the angels ascend and descend form heaven continually upon the faithful.

But whatsoever I can record I record and this work is living proof of it. This in itself proof that, I, who am but un unlearned and obscure elder, even a captain of barely ten souls, and do receive constant revelation from GOD for my daily affairs and needs in a bone braking and soul consuming fashion that I can barely endure, how much more revelation will a well endowed and proven faithful captain of ~14 – 15 million souls would receive? I doubt that they move a finger without being inspired to do so. No one has been able to maneuver such a church ever without the help of GOD.

It is an ongoing stream of revelation even like a tempest of hail which we receive; or even as a torrent of water from a fall. If we fall short of our goals is not because we are lacking revelation but because of the lacking of willing, ears, eyes and minds. I can even speculate that we have a great many prophets in our church today more than there have ever been at one time in the whole world. Google and/or type, lds or Mormons in connection with the gospel and our doctrines and tens of thousands of them will spring up. But few of them are chosen and appointed apostolic front men. We lack no prophecy or revelation in our church. And we all receive our torrential streams of revelation from and thru the source that you so much criticize, even our living prophets, seers and revelators. Have you not read what the scripture of truth says?

But you, Miketea, Bobby and Vicky Gilpin are intellectually minded Christian gentiles that lust for knowledge but despise pure wisdom or the voice of the wise because you lack the faith to observe and obey. They, our prophets are ever so busy listening and declaring what God tells them, that a great many of us are as busy trying to hear and publish and do what they tell us. It is but the way of the wicked like you to lust, covet and speedily consume what is not yours forsaking that we are here to walk in faith and not by a perfect knowledge. And this is why they are preparing to gather together to hear what our Leaders have to say in the next general conference to turn the truth upside down and tear it apart like a dog with a bone or a feline with an old rug. For the LORD has also said and let him who has eyes let him understand the saying:

For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.

Miketea, Bobby and Vicky Gilpin. I have no longer any sympathy for any of you as I would with a common Christian because you are deliberately perverting the right way of the Lord and turning people both inside and outside the gate away from the LORD. You know that what we say it is good and true and if it were not, the devil will not have employed you to attack this work. That is another sing for the evil and adulterous generation but they would not hear. Now:

Why do ye go about perverting the ways of the Lord?

Why do you deny the God of heaven and the gospel of his only true church?

Why do ye speak against all the prophecies of the holy prophets?

The zeal of the house of the LORD eats me up and I am here time and again to turn upside down your money tables from my hiding place and to cast down the earth as with a tempest of hail and a destroying storm, or as a flood of mighty waters, overflowing, with the hand; so it shakes and its inhabitants are thrown overboard. See therefore that you do not refuse him that speaks, for if they did not escape that refused him on earth, how much shall we escape if we refuse that prophet who is in heaven and whom you now despise. He is even waiting or expecting me to finish my errand today to make preparative for the great shaking and decreed consummation. For the LORD has said:

For, with you saith the Lord Almighty, I will rend their kingdoms; I will not only shake the earth, but the starry heavens shall tremble.

Behold, the Lord hath a mighty and strong one, which as a tempest of hail and a destroying storm, as a flood of mighty waters overflowing, shall cast down to the earth with the hand.

(Old Testament Isaiah 28:2)

See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven: Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven. And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain. Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear: For our God is a consuming fire.

(New Testament Hebrews 12:25 - 29)

Now, all of you that want to hear what the LORD has to say, I invite you to see and listen to the living apostles and prophets of Jesus Christ while I fight these infidels that make a living in perverting the ways of the LORD and speaking evil of our dignities. It is a very grievous sin before the LORD what they do and their reward is boiling as we speak. And I have already put the angels of GOD on notice and on guard to gather them as the tares of the earth for the great burning and they shall not escape. For this reason I contend against them because they are building up the church of the devil and setting up or laying the foundation for the destruction of a great many people.

By this or by what they say against us, we can easily discern and detect, that the parallel of ancient and modern wickedness and incredulity or unbelief is strikingly similar. No doubt, darkness covers the earth and gross darkness the minds of people. But they do not accept it because they are willfully blind. These subjects in mention are exemplary sign seekers of the very kind of which the Lord spoke when he said: an evil and adulterous generation demands a sign, but no sign will be given except the sign of the prophet Jonas. They are so self righteous and intellectually and historically oriented that pride has gotten above their heads and fear not speaking evil of dignities. And for this their just rewards is assured for the LORD has said:

Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.

(Old Testament 1 Chronicles 16:22)

Verily, verily, I say unto you, darkness covereth the earth, and gross darkness the minds of the people, and all flesh has become corrupt before my face. Behold, vengeance cometh speedily upon the inhabitants of the earth, a day of wrath, a day of burning, a day of desolation, of weeping, of mourning, and of lamentation; and as a whirlwind it shall come upon all the face of the earth, saith the Lord.

(Doctrine and Covenants Section 112:23 - 24)

Now, let us practice STAR or let us stop, think, act and review for a moment and consider what the LORD has said to the Pharisees, Sadducees, publicans and scribes of his times who demanded a sing of the power and divinity of the son of man.

Then certain of the scribes and of the Pharisees answered, saying, Master, we would see a sign from thee.

But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas: For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.

The men of Nineveh shall rise in judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: because they repented at the preaching of Jonas; and, behold, a greater than Jonas is here.

The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for she came from the uttermost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and, behold, a greater than Solomon is here.

When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none. Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished. Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation.

(New Testament Matthew 12:38 - 45)

The word evil is synonym with the word wicked which is someone who is witched, worked on by a sorcerer’s spell or even possessed by a demon or a lying spirit. And the word adulterous is well know to us all, which is synonym with the immoral act of Idolatry or those who lust and seek after strange flesh or strange gods. The time will speedily come and is at hand when spiritual Babylon will fall and when that happens the whole world will be tempted and enveloped in a dark mist of satanic influences. The demons will encircle the unrepentant people and the bodies of the infidel and the unfaithful will be possessed by countless hosts of unclean and hateful spirits that will make of their temples their cages or habitation. Their purpose is to make mass hysteria, to resurrect the lure of ancient Babylon and to divide the people so they can destroy each other in the vilest and cruelest manner not yet unknown to man. These things will come to pass because the people have despised the commandments, the laws, the gospel and the words of the living GOD and the spirit of God is ceasing to strive with them. And in fulfillment of the revelation that says:

AND after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory. And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird. For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.

And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities. Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her double. How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow. Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her. And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning,

(New Testament Revelation 18:1 - 9)

These three Individuals, yea Miketea, Bobby and Vicky Gilpin, keep saying that we, the Mormons, do worship a different Jesus Christ than the one they understand know about in the Bible. They mock our prophets and despise the word of the LORD and revelations and doctrines of our church. I am perplexed at the awful judgment that awaits them and those that follow them and refuse to repent. I perceive that they are going to be cast alive into the living hell of never anticipated or experienced proportions upon this earth. These are like those that habitually like to cross over the mark and fall on the cliffs or are trodden under foot by a passing army. Right on the spot, any small variation of the word that they are accustomed to idolize sets them off base like when light shines in darkness and darkness comprehends it not. They call the Bible, which historically, is a collection of inspired writings that were put together, hundreds of years after the death of the apostles, by carnal, sensual and devilish men, yet in nature it is not a historical document but evangelical doctrine which once was correct, and pure and now it is not.

For this cause hath the Lord God caused that a curse should come upon the land, and also upon your riches, and this because of your iniquities.

Yea, wo unto this people, because of this time which has arrived, that ye do cast out the prophets, and do mock them, and cast stones at them, and do slay them, and do all manner of iniquity unto them, even as they did of old time.

And now when ye talk, ye say: If our days had been in the days of our fathers of old, we would not have slain the prophets; we would not have stoned them, and cast them out. Behold ye are worse than they; for as the Lord liveth, if a prophet come among you and declareth unto you the word of the Lord, which testifieth of your sins and iniquities, ye are angry with him, and cast him out and seek all manner of ways to destroy him; yea, you will say that he is a false prophet, and that he is a sinner, and of the devil, because he testifieth that your deeds are evil.

But behold, if a man shall come among you and shall say: Do this, and there is no iniquity; do that and ye shall not suffer; yea, he will say: Walk after the pride of your own hearts; yea, walk after the pride of your eyes, and do whatsoever your heart desireth—and if a man shall come among you and say this, ye will receive him, and say that he is a prophet.

Yea, ye will lift him up, and ye will give unto him of your substance; ye will give unto him of your gold, and of your silver, and ye will clothe him with costly apparel; and because he speaketh flattering words unto you, and he saith that all is well, then ye will not find fault with him. O ye wicked and ye perverse generation; ye hardened and ye stiffnecked people, how long will ye suppose that the Lord will suffer you? Yea, how long will ye suffer yourselves to be led by foolish and blind guides? Yea, how long will ye choose darkness rather than light?

Yea, behold, the anger of the Lord is already kindled against you; behold, he hath cursed the land because of your iniquity.

And behold, the time cometh that he curseth your riches, that they become slippery, that ye cannot hold them; and in the days of your poverty ye cannot retain them. And in the days of your poverty ye shall cry unto the Lord; and in vain shall ye cry, for your desolation is already come upon you, and your destruction is made sure; and then shall ye weep and howl in that day, saith the Lord of Hosts. And then shall ye lament, and say:

O that I had repented, and had not killed the prophets, and stoned them, and cast them out. Yea, in that day ye shall say: O that we had remembered the Lord our God in the day that he gave us our riches, and then they would not have become slippery that we should lose them; for behold, our riches are gone from us. Behold, we lay a tool here and on the morrow it is gone; and behold, our swords are taken from us in the day we have sought them for battle. Yea, we have hid up our treasures and they have slipped away from us, because of the curse of the land. O that we had repented in the day that the word of the Lord came unto us; for behold the land is cursed, and all things are become slippery, and we cannot hold them. Behold, we are surrounded by demons, yea, we are encircled about by the angels of him who hath sought to destroy our souls. Behold, our iniquities are great. O Lord, canst thou not turn away thine anger from us? And this shall be your language in those days.

But behold, your days of probation are past; ye have procrastinated the day of your salvation until it is everlastingly too late, and your destruction is made sure; yea, for ye have sought all the days of your lives for that which ye could not obtain; and ye have sought for happiness in doing iniquity, which thing is contrary to the nature of that righteousness which is in our great and Eternal Head.

O ye people of the land, that ye would hear my words! And I pray that the anger of the Lord be turned away from you, and that ye would repent and be saved.

(Book of Mormon Helaman 13:23 - 39)

This is the pitfall in which all idol worshippers fall. They want perfection where there is none. Instead of them adapting to the fact or the truth they want the truth and the facts to adapt to them. And when a person or group of persons demand proof or sign from those who claim to have been truly called, appointed, ordained and sent by the living GOD, it is only a clear and present indicative of their immoral or ungodly behavior toward that which is good; or that they are engaging in a lesser or greater degree of adultery; or that they are meddling with other people’s affairs. All these things describe both the immorality of idolatry and their adultery. And who but them likes also to adulterate our doctrines with their carnal, sensual and devilish mind and understanding just as the ancient heretics and apostates.

To deny these assertions which I have just noted above and that I make and declare concerning Miketea, Bobby and Vicky Gilpin, after it has been plainly shown, is to deny the very words of the Living Christ as written above and call or make of GOD a liar.

These insufferable apologetics are expecting a very candid reply from me because I have time and again counteracted and contested their idiosyncrasy. And that is exactly what they are getting for this last article that they wrote was the straw that broke the camel’s back. They love to turn things upside down and call that which is good evil and that which is evil good. But to them, the LORD has also said that he will burn them as the chaff or the stubble when he appears in the brightness of his coming or before. And they will not escape this burning whether they are dead or alive for they will see him in the clouds when appears in the clouds of heaven.

Now, these sons of Belial know about God but they do not know him. Thus far they are in very attentive expectation of the words that will be uttered by God thru his prophets in general conference as those of old who were also incredulous and who watched for iniquity in wait to snare and amount persecution upon the saints and the prophets of GOD by saying, let him make speed, hasten his work, that we may see it. For of this it is plainly written:

Wo unto them that draw iniquity with cords of vanity, and sin as it were with a cart rope; That say: Let him make speed, hasten his work, that we may see it; and let the counsel of the Holy One of Israel draw nigh and come, that we may know it.

Wo unto them that call evil good, and good evil, that put darkness for light, and light for darkness, that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

Wo unto the wise in their own eyes and prudent in their own sight!

Wo unto the mighty to drink wine, and men of strength to mingle strong drink;

Who justify the wicked for reward, and take away the righteousness of the righteous from him!

Therefore, as the fire devoureth the stubble, and the flame consumeth the chaff, their root shall be rottenness, and their blossoms shall go up as dust; because they have cast away the law of the Lord of Hosts, and despised the word of the Holy One of Israel.

(Book of Mormon 2 Nephi 15:18 - 24)

The very same words can be found in chapter five of the book of Isaiah. It is indicative of the state of apostasy and unbelief of those who once were apparently enlightened and who by trespassing the mark, have fallen into such extent of unbelief or apostasy that they became even worst than when they were first enlightened. Before I came, when nobody confronted them they had no sin imputed upon them, but now that I have come and declare it unto them, they have no cloke for their sin. And the LORD has given me power and authority to bind them with my words. For I speak with the authority of our father in heaven in the name of his son, even the LORD Jesu Christ, and the LORD has said.

If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloke for their sin.

(New Testament John 15:22)

For it is also written that darkness covers the earth and gross darkness the minds of people. These subjects know a great deal about Mormonism, and like much of what they hear and read about us. But they have gone willfully blind by walking in darkness at noon time and yet, they hunger and thirst for the word of GOD and cannot find it, fulfilling the prophesies of Amos and Isaiah which say:

BEHOLD, the LORD maketh the earth empty, and maketh it waste, and turneth it upside down, and scattereth abroad the inhabitants thereof. And it shall be, as with the people, so with the priest; as with the servant, so with his master; as with the maid, so with her mistress; as with the buyer, so with the seller; as with the lender, so with the borrower; as with the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him. The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken this word. The earth mourneth and fadeth away, the world languisheth and fadeth away, the haughty people of the earth do languish.

For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.

(Old Testament Isaiah 60:2)

Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD: And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the LORD, and shall not find it. In that day shall the fair virgins and young men faint for thirst.

(Old Testament Amos 8:11 - 13)

O that cunning plan of the evil one! O the vainness, and the frailties, and the foolishness of men! When they are learned they think they are wise, and they hearken not unto the counsel of God, for they set it aside, supposing they know of themselves, wherefore, their wisdom is foolishness and it profiteth them not. And they shall perish. But to be learned is good if they hearken unto the counsels of God.

But wo unto the rich, who are rich as to the things of the world. For because they are rich they despise the poor, and they persecute the meek, and their hearts are upon their treasures; wherefore, their treasure is their god. And behold, their treasure shall perish with them also.

And wo unto the deaf that will not hear; for they shall perish. Wo unto the blind that will not see; for they shall perish also.

Wo unto the uncircumcised of heart, for a knowledge of their iniquities shall smite them at the last day.

Wo unto the liar, for he shall be thrust down to hell.

Wo unto the murderer who deliberately killeth, for he shall die.

Wo unto them who commit whoredoms, for they shall be thrust down to hell.

Yea, wo unto those that worship idols, for the devil of all devils delighteth in them.

And, in fine, wo unto all those who die in their sins; for they shall return to God, and behold his face, and remain in their sins.

O, my beloved brethren, remember the awfulness in transgressing against that Holy God, and also the awfulness of yielding to the enticings of that cunning one. Remember, to be carnally–minded is death, and to be spiritually–minded is life eternal.

(Book of Mormon 2 Nephi 9:28 - 39)

The prophet Alma of the Book of Mormon speaks very plainly about these truth hating subjects when he said:

And thus we can plainly discern, that after a people have been once enlightened by the Spirit of God, and have had great knowledge of things pertaining to righteousness, and then have fallen away into sin and transgression, they become more hardened, and thus their state becomes worse than though they had never known these things.

(Book of Mormon Alma 24:30)

O, my beloved brethren, give ear to my words. Remember the greatness of the Holy One of Israel. Do not say that I have spoken hard things against you; for if ye do, ye will revile against the truth; for I have spoken the words of your Maker. I know that the words of truth are hard against all uncleanness; but the righteous fear them not, for they love the truth and are not shaken.

O then, my beloved brethren, come unto the Lord, the Holy One. Remember that his paths are righteous. Behold, the way for man is narrow, but it lieth in a straight course before him, and the keeper of the gate is the Holy One of Israel; and he employeth no servant there; and there is none other way save it be by the gate; for he cannot be deceived, for the Lord God is his name.

And whoso knocketh, to him will he open; and the wise, and the learned, and they that are rich, who are puffed up because of their learning, and their wisdom, and their riches—yea, they are they whom he despiseth; and save they shall cast these things away, and consider themselves fools before God, and come down in the depths of humility, he will not open unto them. But the things of the wise and the prudent shall be hid from them forever—yea, that happiness which is prepared for the saints.

O, my beloved brethren, remember my words. Behold, I take off my garments, and I shake them before you; I pray the God of my salvation that he view me with his all–searching eye; wherefore, ye shall know at the last day, when all men shall be judged of their works, that the God of Israel did witness that I shook your iniquities from my soul, and that I stand with brightness before him, and am rid of your blood.

O, my beloved brethren, turn away from your sins; shake off the chains of him that would bind you fast; come unto that God who is the rock of your salvation.

Prepare your souls for that glorious day when justice shall be administered unto the righteous, even the day of judgment, that ye may not shrink with awful fear; that ye may not remember your awful guilt in perfectness, and be constrained to exclaim: Holy, holy are thy judgments, O Lord God Almighty—but I know my guilt; I transgressed thy law, and my transgressions are mine; and the devil hath obtained me, that I am a prey to his awful misery.

But behold, my brethren, is it expedient that I should awake you to an awful reality of these things? Would I harrow up your souls if your minds were pure? Would I be plain unto you according to the plainness of the truth if ye were freed from sin?

Behold, if ye were holy I would speak unto you of holiness; but as ye are not holy, and ye look upon me as a teacher, it must needs be expedient that I teach you the consequences of sin. Behold, my soul abhorreth sin, and my heart delighteth in righteousness; and I will praise the holy name of my God.

Come, my brethren, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters; and he that hath no money, come buy and eat; yea, come buy wine and milk without money and without price.

Wherefore, do not spend money for that which is of no worth, nor your labor for that which cannot satisfy. Hearken diligently unto me, and remember the words which I have spoken; and come unto the Holy One of Israel, and feast upon that which perisheth not, neither can be corrupted, and let your soul delight in fatness. Behold, my beloved brethren, remember the words of your God; pray unto him continually by day, and give thanks unto his holy name by night. Let your hearts rejoice.

And behold how great the covenants of the Lord, and how great his condescensions unto the children of men; and because of his greatness, and his grace and mercy, he has promised unto us that our seed shall not utterly be destroyed, according to the flesh, but that he would preserve them; and in future generations they shall become a righteous branch unto the house of Israel.

And now, my brethren, I would speak unto you more; but on the morrow I will declare unto you the remainder of my words. Amen.

(Book of Mormon 2 Nephi 9:40 - 54)

These things I humbly say and declare for the justification of the faithful saints of God and the pure in heart and for the condemnation of the ungodly; and I do it solemnly because I have been commanded to do so and I do it not of my own but by the power of the Holy Ghost in the sacred name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Can two walk together, except they be agreed? Will a lion roar in the forest, when he hath no prey? will a young lion cry out of his den, if he have taken nothing? The lion hath roared, who will not fear? the Lord GOD hath spoken, who can but prophesy?

Publish in the palaces at Ashdod, and in the palaces in the land of Egypt, and say, Assemble yourselves upon the mountains of Samaria, and behold the great tumults in the midst thereof, and the oppressed in the midst thereof. For they know not to do right, saith the LORD, who store up violence and robbery in their palaces.

Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; An adversary there shall be even round about the land; and he shall bring down thy strength from thee, and thy palaces shall be spoiled.

Thus saith the LORD; As the shepherd taketh out of the mouth of the lion two legs, or a piece of an ear; so shall the children of Israel be taken out that dwell in Samaria in the corner of a bed, and in Damascus in a couch.
