Proclaim ye this among the Gentiles; Prepare war, wake up the mighty men, let all the men of war draw near; let them come up
(Old Testament Joel 3:9)
Is my intention this holy day to raise high the voice of warning to all that may hear in Zion and in Jerusalem that a red dawn army of great and mighty warriors is coming upon the plain and the fat valley and upon the drunkards of Ephraim. Even I stumble in judgment and err in vision for all tables are full of vomit and there is no place clean to work or to serv. I myself have seen the filthiness thereof and it is not meet to work. And for this reason I write confirming all things that i see and hear with the law and the testimony of those that have slumbered in the dust and are asleep, even the holy prophets. And this I do in fulfillment of what will shortly come to pass as spoken by the words of GOD thru Joel the prophet who said:
BLOW ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand
(Old Testament Joel 2:1)
WOE to the crown of pride, to the drunkards of Ephraim, whose glorious beauty is a fading flower, which are on the head of the fat valleys of them that are overcome with wine! Behold, the Lord hath a mighty and strong one, which as a tempest of hail and a destroying storm, as a flood of mighty waters overflowing, shall cast down to the earth with the hand. The crown of pride, the drunkards of Ephraim, shall be trodden under feet: And the glorious beauty, which is on the head of the fat valley, shall be a fading flower, and as the hasty fruit before the summer; which when he that looketh upon it seeth, while it is yet in his hand he eateth it up.
In that day shall the LORD of hosts be for a crown of glory, and for a diadem of beauty, unto the residue of his people. And for a spirit of judgment to him that sitteth in judgment, and for strength to them that turn the battle to the gate. But they also have erred through wine, and through strong drink are out of the way; the priest and the prophet have erred through strong drink, they are swallowed up of wine, they are out of the way through strong drink; they err in vision, they stumble in judgment For all tables are full of vomit and filthiness, so that there is no place clean.
(Old Testament Isaiah 28:1 - 8)
I am also of the seed of Ephraim, and I am sober and despite my reluctance to become a prophet of doom, I am quick to observe what I am taught by the LORD. I have stayed away from wine and from strong drink with intent to please and do the will of the LORD who keeps me hidden in the shadow of his hand to walk anointed every day and perhaps forever. For the LORD has said to me through the High Priests that anointed me, even last week on this day that despite all peril, I am still honoring the priesthood. And of the LORD I have also heard:
And I will raise me up a faithful priest, that shall do according to that which is in mine heart and in my mind: and I will build him a sure house; and he shall walk before mine anointed for ever. And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left in thine house shall come and crouch to him for a piece of silver and a morsel of bread, and shall say, Put me, I pray thee, into one of the priests' offices, that I may eat a piece of bread.
(Old Testament 1 Samuel 2:35 - 36)
Therefore, hearken and LO, this is the voice as of one who is sent down from high in the spirit and power of ELIAS, who is mighty and powerful, whose voice is crying from the wilderness unto all men and whose going are to the ends of the earth. Yea, even one who is commissioned of Jesus Christ to say: Repent, ye repent ye for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. Repent ye, repent ye and make the path of the LORD straight, for the ax is laid at the foot of every tree and every tree that does not bring forth fruit meet for repentance will be hewn down and cast into the fire from whence no traveler returns leaving it neither root or branch. And the scriptures and the LORD himself confirm all my words plainly saying:
And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
(New Testament Matthew 3:10)
And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: every tree therefore which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. And the people asked him, saying, What shall we do then? He answereth and saith unto them, He that hath two coats, let him impart to him that hath none; and he that hath meat, let him do likewise. Then came also publicans to be baptized, and said unto him, Master, what shall we do? And he said unto them, Exact no more than that which is appointed you.
And the soldiers likewise demanded of him, saying, And what shall we do? And he said unto them, Do violence to no man, neither accuse any falsely; and be content with your wages. And as the people were in expectation, and all men mused in their hearts of John, whether he were the Christ, or not;
John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but one mightier than I cometh, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire: Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and will gather the wheat into his garner; but the chaff he will burn with fire unquenchable. And many other things in his exhortation preached he unto the people.
(New Testament Luke 3:9 - 18)
Yea, thus saith the Spirit: Repent, all ye ends of the earth, for the kingdom of heaven is soon at hand; yea, the Son of God cometh in his glory, in his might, majesty, power, and dominion. Yea, my beloved brethren, I say unto you, that the Spirit saith: Behold the glory of the King of all the earth; and also the King of heaven shall very soon shine forth among all the children of men.
And also the Spirit saith unto me, yea, crieth unto me with a mighty voice, saying: Go forth and say unto this people—Repent, for except ye repent ye can in nowise inherit the kingdom of heaven.
And again I say unto you, the Spirit saith: Behold, the ax is laid at the root of the tree; therefore every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit shall be hewn down and cast into the fire, yea, a fire which cannot be consumed, even an unquenchable fire. Behold, and remember, the Holy One hath spoken it.
And now my beloved brethren, I say unto you, can ye withstand these sayings; yea, can ye lay aside these things, and trample the Holy One under your feet; yea, can ye be puffed up in the pride of your hearts; yea, will ye still persist in the wearing of costly apparel and setting your hearts upon the vain things of the world, upon your riches? Yea, will ye persist in supposing that ye are better one than another; yea, will ye persist in the persecution of your brethren, who humble themselves and do walk after the holy order of God, wherewith they have been brought into this church, having been sanctified by the Holy Spirit, and they do bring forth works which are meet for repentance— Yea, and will you persist in turning your backs upon the poor, and the needy, and in withholding your substance from them?
And finally, all ye that will persist in your wickedness, I say unto you that these are they who shall be hewn down and cast into the fire except they speedily repent.
And now I say unto you, all you that are desirous to follow the voice of the good shepherd, come ye out from the wicked, and be ye separate, and touch not their unclean things; and behold, their names shall be blotted out, that the names of the wicked shall not be numbered among the names of the righteous, that the word of God may be fulfilled, which saith: The names of the wicked shall not be mingled with the names of my people; For the names of the righteous shall be written in the book of life, and unto them will I grant an inheritance at my right hand. And now, my brethren, what have ye to say against this? I say unto you, if ye speak against it, it matters not, for the word of God must be fulfilled.
For what shepherd is there among you having many sheep doth not watch over them, that the wolves enter not and devour his flock? And behold, if a wolf enter his flock doth he not drive him out? Yea, and at the last, if he can, he will destroy him. And now I say unto you that the good shepherd doth call after you; and if you will hearken unto his voice he will bring you into his fold, and ye are his sheep; and he commandeth you that ye suffer no ravenous wolf to enter among you, that ye may not be destroyed. And now I, Alma, do command you in the language of him who hath commanded me, that ye observe to do the words which I have spoken unto you. I speak by way of command unto you that belong to the church; and unto those who do not belong to the church I speak by way of invitation, saying: Come and be baptized unto repentance, that ye also may be partakers of the fruit of the tree of life.
(Book of Mormon Alma 5:50 - 62)
Behold, that which you hear is as the voice of one crying in the wilderness—in the wilderness, because you cannot see him—my voice, because my voice is Spirit; my Spirit is truth; truth abideth and hath no end; and if it be in you it shall abound.

Nevertheless, in the eyes of the world, I am a mad man, even a man of wild manners who has an emotional or mental deficiency or who has no comeliness or that lacks scholastic formation, a man of stammering lips, a burden to the society he belongs to, and who is now talking by these means to a people wiht stammering lips in a strange language. But despite all effort and determionation from morning til evening they would not hear me. Wherefore, when I came, there was no man, when I called no one answered me. Yet the LORD has given me by his gift the tongue of the Learned that I should know how to speak to him that is weary; and who is in grief in season. From morning to morning the LORD has opened my ear to hear as the learned, and despite rebuke and his benevolent correction that is often as a chzel and hammer in my head, I have not turned my back on him, but to the smiter, to those that pluck of the hair. The LORd has opened my ear and I was not rebellious; and I know that the LORD is near; and that despite my errors in my duty to him he will help me and he justifies witht the law and the testimony. And I know that despite the multitude of words that come out of my mind an dmy heart, I will not be confounded. Therefore I have set my face like flint and I know that I will not be ashamed. For of this it is also written:
Wherefore, when I came, there was no man; when I called, yea, there was none to answer. O house of Israel, is my hand shortened at all that it cannot redeem, or have I no power to deliver? Behold, at my rebuke I dry up the sea, I make their rivers a wilderness and their fish to stink because the waters are dried up, and they die because of thirst. I clothe the heavens with blackness, and I make sackcloth their covering.
The Lord God hath given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season unto thee, O house of Israel. When ye are weary he waketh morning by morning. He waketh mine ear to hear as the learned. The Lord God hath opened mine ear, and I was not rebellious, neither turned away back. I gave my back to the smiter, and my cheeks to them that plucked off the hair. I hid not my face from shame and spitting. For the Lord God will help me, therefore shall I not be confounded. Therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed.
And the Lord is near, and he justifieth me. Who will contend with me? Let us stand together. Who is mine adversary? Let him come near me, and I will smite him with the strength of my mouth. For the Lord God will help me. And all they who shall condemn me, behold, all they shall wax old as a garment, and the moth shall eat them up.
Who is among you that feareth the Lord, that obeyeth the voice of his servant, that walketh in darkness and hath no light?
Behold all ye that kindle fire, that compass yourselves about with sparks, walk in the light of your fire and in the sparks which ye have kindled. This shall ye have of mine hand—ye shall lie down in sorrow.
(Book of Mormon2 Nephi 7:2 - 11)
Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little: For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people. To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear. But the word of the LORD was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken.
(Old Testament Isaiah 28:9 - 13)
Nonetheless, as some can perceive, I am most attentive to hear the words of the LORD who is kind from old and new sources or mediums. FOr the LORD is kinf and willing to teach knowledge who makes me understand doctrine. Yet, I do not know if I owe this is out if anxiety of mind or else, but for two consecutive nights I have had very troubling dreams or visions of great wars and destructions upon the land of the free and the home of the brave coming apparently thru the west and the northwest of the area from where I am now standing, even by the sea east. I perceive that these are things that will shortly come to pass, more than things that are or things that were.
And as Joel has proclaimed it, this is a day of clouds and thick darkness, a day of trouble and distress, a day ominous gloominess as the morning spreads upon the mountains; this is a day in which the LORD is searching for his people with candles; and unless they open up their mouth and call upon the LORD and acknowledge and confess his name aloud he will not know them. And woe unto them that are settled as the rested wine, sitting upon their lees and who think that the LORD, despite our rebellions, our sins and our iniquities will put on pink colored glasses and not bring justice upon the land.
Or that because mercy and longsuffering goes before the LORD he will not do or bring upon the people either good or evil. So that the scriptures is fulfilled which say:
Or that because mercy and longsuffering goes before the LORD he will not do or bring upon the people either good or evil. So that the scriptures is fulfilled which say:
(Old Testament Joel 2:2 - 6)
And it shall come to pass in the day of the LORD's sacrifice, that I will punish the princes, and the king's children, and all such as are clothed with strange apparel. In the same day also will I punish all those that leap on the threshold, which fill their masters' houses with violence and deceit. And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the LORD, that there shall be the noise of a cry from the fish gate, and an howling from the second, and a great crashing from the hills.
Howl, ye inhabitants of Maktesh, for all the merchant people are cut down; all they that bear silver are cut off. And it shall come to pass at that time, that I will search Jerusalem with candles, and punish the men that are settled on their lees: that say in their heart, The LORD will not do good, neither will he do evil. Therefore their goods shall become a booty, and their houses a desolation: they shall also build houses, but not inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, but not drink the wine thereof.
The great day of the LORD is near, it is near, and hasteth greatly, even the voice of the day of the LORD: the mighty man shall cry there bitterly. That day is a day of wrath, a day of trouble and distress, a day of wasteness and desolation, a day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness, A day of the trumpet and alarm against the fenced cities, and against the high towers. And I will bring distress upon men, that they shall walk like blind men, because they have sinned against the LORD: and their blood shall be poured out as dust, and their flesh as the dung. Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them in the day of the LORD's wrath; but the whole land shall be devoured by the fire of his jealousy: for he shall make even a speedy riddance of all them that dwell in the land.
(Old Testament Zephaniah 1:8 - 18)
Now, in the first vision or dream of the night concerning wars of destructions, I was conducting everyday business in the day time when out of nowhere; I heard a great noise that rattled the ground from the hills. And immediately thereafter I lifted my eyes upon the plains and saw a great explosion, which thunder reverberated in the land louder than the noise that shakes the earth; and which smokes hovered upward like the pillar of a cloud upon the land.
And soon after this, in the very same dream, I saw as if a myriad of corsairs of modern warfare dancing at low altitude furiously the sky, which planes were in active warfare for I saw that a fire that devoured before them and behind them a flame that burns.
Having seen a aforetime cinematographic film called pearl harbor several years in the past, it appeared like Pearl Harbor II was in the making or happening all over again only in more contemporary times. And then what I had considered and pondered all this in the fear of the LORD, the following holy scriptures or revelation from GOD came whispering through to my mind which says.
And again, I say unto you that the enemy in the secret chambers seeketh your lives. Ye hear of wars in far countries, and you say that there will soon be great wars in far countries, but ye know not the hearts of men in your own land. I tell you these things because of your prayers; wherefore, treasure up wisdom in your bosoms, lest the wickedness of men reveal these things unto you by their wickedness, in a manner which shall speak in your ears with a voice louder than that which shall shake the earth; but if ye are prepared ye shall not fear.
And that ye might escape the power of the enemy, and be gathered unto me a righteous people, without spot and blameless— Wherefore, for this cause I gave unto you the commandment that ye should go to the Ohio; and there I will give unto you my law; and there you shall be endowed with power from on high; And from thence, whosoever I will shall go forth among all nations, and it shall be told them what they shall do; for I have a great work laid up in store, for Israel shall be saved, and I will lead them whithersoever I will, and no power shall stay my hand.
(Doctrine and Covenants Section 38:28 - 33)
Having been told what I shall do; and having been endowed with power from on high in the temple of our GOD, then, the night or the Day After, or even last night, I had a similar dream, which tells me that the thing which I saw in my dreams is established of GOD.
I saw in the vision of the night dream that I was going to the door of the tabernacle of the congregation in the temple of my God in Ohio to conduct certain work of purification and sanctification for the dead as my wife and I customarily do when we go to the House of the LORD. This we do from time to time to offer sacrifices, praises, oblations and peace offerings unto him as gratitue for the multitude of his tnder mercies. And as always I was given by the attendant white raiment to wear but as I changed into white linen raiment, I noticed that I was not given any cutomary priesthood robes to wear as I thought I had them in the packet I was given. This is so I could do my customary routine whenever I go into the temple of our GOD. So, as I did my washing and anointing duty, I was somewhat troubled because I had never seen a temple door of the tabernacle so small. It was indeed the smallest temple in which I had been in my life. But I was more troubled because I was not given the customary priesthood robes to wear for the customary session of the endowment for vicarious work. I was instead given sack cloth robes or a mantle of camel’s hair to wear. This means that instead of rejoicing I was called with a sack cloth mantle to weep and to mourn. But I had not seen any dead or peril approaching. This is so that the scripture is fulfilled which say:

But I had not seen any dead or peril approaching. This is so that the scripture is fulfilled which say:
Blow the trumpet in Zion, sanctify a fast, call a solemn assembly: Gather the people, sanctify the congregation, assemble the elders, gather the children, and those that suck the breasts: let the bridegroom go forth of his chamber, and the bride out of her closet. Let the priests, the ministers of the LORD, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, Spare thy people, O LORD, and give not thine heritage to reproach, that the heathen should rule over them: wherefore should they say among the people, Where is their God?
(Old Testament Joel 2:15 - 17)
So with my white garments I immediately went out of the temple dressed in white apparel and wearing over it my own robes made of sack cloth. So, I went out in sack cloth towards another section of temple to enquire of the attendants thereof why I was given sack cloth or camel hair robes instead of priesthood robes. And as I walked out in the road on my way to enquire this of them, I lifted my eyes into the sky to my right side and I saw a peculiar myriad of red colored armored thanks that looked like scorpions hovering down upon the plain and the cities. It appeared as if I was way out west in a hill country. These red colored tanks that I saw were covering the sky and descending slowly in parachutes upon the plains to fall upon and torment the cities. I understood that we were in a red down invasion by some kind of a red army. When I woke up I remembered that as a youth, I saw a cinematographic film called, Red Dawn, and the things that appeared in my dream were as if these things were happening in real time as they appeared in the film.
Having reasoned with the LORD about this also, and having seen the calamities that are or have recently taken place in the North East as the storms passed by and by. Which storms were to the similitude of what the people call the Perfect Storm; and in their fear the people even make delusions or pictures or films about what may befall them, I concluded that that the LORD our God is faithful in all his sayings. And that his words do not return unto him void or empty or without accomplishing what he intended. I concluded that the LORD also chooses to bring to pass upon us our own fears. He choses our own fears to come upon us or upon the people even as they fear them. For if this it is plainly written:
For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
(Old Testament Isaiah 55:10 - 11)
I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spake, they did not hear: but they did evil before mine eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not.
(Old Testament Isaiah 66:4)

Shall I not visit for these things? saith the LORD: shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation as this?
A wonderful and horrible thing is committed in the land; The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their means; and my people love to have it so: and what will ye do in the end thereof?
(Old Testament Jeremiah 5:29 - 31)
Shall I not visit for these things? saith the LORD: shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation as this?

(Old Testament Jeremiah 5:29 - 31)
Therefore, in such a troubling view, of the things I saw in the sky and upon the land in my dream, as I walked towards the entrance of the temple. I was not one bit afraid, yet I hastened my steps a little and observed that I was being shot at by heavy artillery on the same road I was waking towards the temple. But I did not move to the left or to the right even in the heat of fire or in harms way, so I kept fearless and moving forwards to my destination for I had more important things to enquire from the priests at the temple than to dodge flying anf fiery bullets. I could even see the fiery bullets in flight but they were too far away from me to aim with intent to reach me. And as I went near the gate of the temple, I saw a huge armored and camouflaged tank stationed there on the temple drive way. I did not see that before I went in the first time, so I went by its side to enter the gate or the iron curtain when a contingent troop came out of nowhere and pulled its artillery gun aiming it with determination to shoot at me. They appeared as sentinels trying to infiltrate the temple or as sentinels guarding the entrance of the temple. I could not tell if they were friends or foes. Since I did not know them and they did not know me and they were aiming at me, I though that they were enemies or from the invading army.
And therefore, knowing I that I am a witness of Jesus Christ, in all things, in all places and at all times, even unto death, right before they begun to shoot and kill me, I raised my right hand to the square; and I also lowered my left hand to the square with my left hand in arranged in a very distinctive shape. And while I did that, I yelled at them firmly as one having authority in a stout and commanding voice and in my own native language to halt their fire in the name of Jesus Christ. As soon as I did this, they lowered their weapons of war and the chief among them came hastening towards me. When he arrived right on my face, he excused himself before me, then he embraced me, he grabbed me by the neck and he kissed me. I was somewhat confused or troubled at this kind and amicable reception coming from a man of war that had aimed his weapon at me with intent to kill me. And when he had done that, I quickly told them right on their face that that was the house of the LORD and that it was a holy place and that they could not enter with arms without suffering the consequences of just and offended GOD. For of this it is written:
If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.
(New Testament 1 Corinthians 3:17)
But that they were free to enter it if they dared to do so at their own peril. They immediately desisted to enter or to threaten to enter and soon after the temple president opened the curtain of iron or the gate, both the chief military officer and the temple president or patron embraced each other as friends. They exchanged some words among each other which I did not hear. It appears that they knew each other because they hugged and kissed each other on the cheek. And then I understood that those soldiers were the sentinels guarding the gate of the temple and not of the red invading army I saw parachuting over the land aforetime. After this I was taken by the hand and greeted by the priests dressed in white at the temple and I was embraced and admitted into the temple holy abodes.

Son after this, I was imbedded with the army of the LORD of hosts and carried in a vision where I saw that the cities, the streets and house of the land of the free and the home of the brave were left desolated and the destroying angels who were men and women in heavy heavily armed to the teeth shooting their heavy artillery at almost every house on the road as we drove or marched. And as they were doing so I overheard them giving specific and precise coordinates of each residence where they were to shoot at. And after this I woke up startled at the scenery. And when I woke up, I did find out that the promise of the LORD in our midst and concerning his spirit being poured upon all flesh and the promises of the word of wisdom are fulfilled which say that he will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke etc.:
And ye shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am the LORD your God, and none else: and my people shall never be ashamed. And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit. And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come. And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.
(Old Testament Joel 2:27 - 32)
And all saints who remember to keep and do these sayings, walking in obedience to the commandments, shall receive health in their navel and marrow to their bones; And shall find wisdom and great treasures of knowledge, even hidden treasures; And shall run and not be weary, and shall walk and not faint. And I, the Lord, give unto them a promise, that the destroying angel shall pass by them, as the children of Israel, and not slay them. Amen.
(Doctrine and Covenants Section 89:18 - 21)
There is much more that I can sat about these things for the words of the LORD have no end. But I now cease writing in fear of saying something that is forbidden and turns for my condemnation for unto the world the books re sealed and I do not want to ad or to take away fro the revelation of God unto his servant John. But the purpose of this is to make known unto the world that the LORD is the same yesterday today and forever and that he talks to us as he did to the ancient in our won language and in our manner of speech so we may understand. All else I can shew unto the world is what the LORD has said himself in the book of Mormon and in the the preface to the book of commandments which say:
And whatsoever thing persuadeth men to do good is of me; for good cometh of none save it be of me. I am the same that leadeth men to all good; he that will not believe my words will not believe me—that I am; and he that will not believe me will not believe the Father who sent me. For behold, I am the Father, I am the light, and the life, and the truth of the world.
Come unto me, O ye Gentiles, and I will show unto you the greater things, the knowledge which is hid up because of unbelief.
Come unto me, O ye house of Israel, and it shall be made manifest unto you how great things the Father hath laid up for you, from the foundation of the world; and it hath not come unto you, because of unbelief.
Behold, when ye shall rend that veil of unbelief which doth cause you to remain in your awful state of wickedness, and hardness of heart, and blindness of mind, then shall the great and marvelous things which have been hid up from the foundation of the world from you—yea, when ye shall call upon the Father in my name, with a broken heart and a contrite spirit, then shall ye know that the Father hath remembered the covenant which he made unto your fathers, O house of Israel. And then shall my revelations which I have caused to be written by my servant John be unfolded in the eyes of all the people. Remember, when ye see these things, ye shall know that the time is at hand that they shall be made manifest in very deed.
Therefore, when ye shall receive this record ye may know that the work of the Father has commenced upon all the face of the land. Therefore, repent all ye ends of the earth, and come unto me, and believe in my gospel, and be baptized in my name; for he that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned; and signs shall follow them that believe in my name. And blessed is he that is found faithful unto my name at the last day, for he shall be lifted up to dwell in the kingdom prepared for him from the foundation of the world. And behold it is I that hath spoken it. Amen.
(Book of Mormon Ether 4:12 - 19)
And these and the foregoing things I say, humbly, solemnly and diligently as one having authority with a single eye for the honor and glory of GOD the Father in the name of his only begotten son, even the LORD Jesus Christ, amen.
This is an unworthy servant in the hands of Christ

HEARKEN, O ye people of my church, saith the voice of him who dwells on high, and whose eyes are upon all men; yea, verily I say: Hearken ye people from afar; and ye that are upon the islands of the sea, listen together.
ReplyDeleteFor verily the voice of the Lord is unto all men, and there is none to escape; and there is no eye that shall not see, neither ear that shall not hear, neither heart that shall not be penetrated. And the rebellious shall be pierced with much sorrow; for their iniquities shall be spoken upon the housetops, and their secret acts shall be revealed. And the voice of warning shall be unto all people, by the mouths of my disciples, whom I have chosen in these last days. And they shall go forth and none shall stay them, for I the Lord have commanded them. Behold, this is mine authority, and the authority of my servants, and my preface unto the book of my commandments, which I have given them to publish unto you, O inhabitants of the earth.
Wherefore, fear and tremble, O ye people, for what I the Lord have decreed in them shall be fulfilled. And verily I say unto you, that they who go forth, bearing these tidings unto the inhabitants of the earth, to them is power given to seal both on earth and in heaven, the unbelieving and rebellious; Yea, verily, to seal them up unto the day when the wrath of God shall be poured out upon the wicked without measure— Unto the day when the Lord shall come to recompense unto every man according to his work, and measure to every man according to the measure which he has measured to his fellow man. Wherefore the voice of the Lord is unto the ends of the earth, that all that will hear may hear:
Prepare ye, prepare ye for that which is to come, for the Lord is nigh; And the anger of the Lord is kindled, and his sword is bathed in heaven, and it shall fall upon the inhabitants of the earth. And the arm of the Lord shall be revealed; and the day cometh that they who will not hear the voice of the Lord, neither the voice of his servants, neither give heed to the words of the prophets and apostles, shall be cut off from among the people; For they have strayed from mine ordinances, and have broken mine everlasting covenant; They seek not the Lord to establish his righteousness, but every man walketh in his own way, and after the image of his own god, whose image is in the likeness of the world, and whose substance is that of an idol, which waxeth old and shall perish in Babylon, even Babylon the great, which shall fall.
ReplyDeleteWherefore, I the Lord, knowing the calamity which should come upon the inhabitants of the earth, called upon my servant Joseph Smith, Jun., and spake unto him from heaven, and gave him commandments; And also gave commandments to others, that they should proclaim these things unto the world; and all this that it might be fulfilled, which was written by the prophets— The weak things of the world shall come forth and break down the mighty and strong ones, that man should not counsel his fellow man, neither trust in the arm of flesh— But that every man might speak in the name of God the Lord, even the Savior of the world; That faith also might increase in the earth; That mine everlasting covenant might be established; That the fulness of my gospel might be proclaimed by the weak and the simple unto the ends of the world, and before kings and rulers.
ReplyDeleteBehold, I am God and have spoken it; these commandments are of me, and were given unto my servants in their weakness, after the manner of their language, that they might come to understanding. And inasmuch as they erred it might be made known; And inasmuch as they sought wisdom they might be instructed; And inasmuch as they sinned they might be chastened, that they might repent; And inasmuch as they were humble they might be made strong, and blessed from on high, and receive knowledge from time to time. And after having received the record of the Nephites, yea, even my servant Joseph Smith, Jun., might have power to translate through the mercy of God, by the power of God, the Book of Mormon.
And also those to whom these commandments were given, might have power to lay the foundation of this church, and to bring it forth out of obscurity and out of darkness, the only true and living church upon the face of the whole earth, with which I, the Lord, am well pleased, speaking unto the church collectively and not individually— For I the Lord cannot look upon sin with the least degree of allowance; Nevertheless, he that repents and does the commandments of the Lord shall be forgiven; And he that repents not, from him shall be taken even the light which he has received; for my Spirit shall not always strive with man, saith the Lord of Hosts.
And again, verily I say unto you, O inhabitants of the earth: I the Lord am willing to make these things known unto all flesh; For I am no respecter of persons, and will that all men shall know that the day speedily cometh; the hour is not yet, but is nigh at hand, when peace shall be taken from the earth, and the devil shall have power over his own dominion. And also the Lord shall have power over his saints, and shall reign in their midst, and shall come down in judgment upon Idumea, or the world.
Search these commandments, for they are true and faithful, and the prophecies and promises which are in them shall all be fulfilled. What I the Lord have spoken, I have spoken, and I excuse not myself; and though the heavens and the earth pass away, my word shall not pass away, but shall all be fulfilled, whether by mine own voice or by the voice of my servants, it is the same. For behold, and lo, the Lord is God, and the Spirit beareth record, and the record is true, and the truth abideth forever and ever. Amen.
