Behold, he who has repented of his sins, the same is forgiven, and I, the Lord, remember them no more

“No matter what our transgressions have been, no matter how much our actions may have hurt others, that guilt can all be wiped out. To me, perhaps the most beautiful phrase in all scripture is when the Lord said,

“Behold, he who has repented of his sins, the same is forgiven, and I, the Lord, remember them no more.”

·  Doctrine and Covenants 58:42

Boyd. K Packer

I repent. Thanks for sharing the gift Elder Packer. I shared it too much lately, that I had but little left for me, now I need it the most and it came right on time. Even though we know by our selves that we need to repent, it is nonetheless a gift that we can't just take. Or our faith does not increase unless someone is sent to give it to us so that we can hear it. This is my first gift of the year. You reap what you sow or the oxen also eat when threshing the floor.

It a real cause for celebration and I am glad that our teachers are no longer left or confined into a corner and when the student is ready, they just appear. Thank you Lord for swift messengers that cannot be stayed.

"And therefore will the Lord wait, that he may be gracious unto you, and therefore will he be exalted, that he may have mercy upon you: for the Lord is a God of judgment: blessed are all they that wait for him.

For the people shall dwell in Zion at Jerusalem: thou shalt weep no more: he will be very gracious unto thee at the voice of thy cry; when he shall hear it, he will answer thee.

And though the Lord give you the bread of adversity, and the water of affliction, yet shall not thy teachers be removed into a corner any more, but thine eyes shall see thy teachers:

And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.

Isaiah 30:18,19,20,21

In times past when apostasy overflowed in the land and among the people and the teachers were scarce, the prophets had to conduct the ultimate sacrifice and seal the law and the testimony with their own blood to the similitude of the atonement of our savior. Joe Smith and his brother Hyrum were not the exception. Then if the only teacher was the prophet, what a calamity!!! And if there were any teachers left, they will go out of business or be left as in a corner without direct revelation because the channels or flow of revelation ceased with the death of the prophet. And consequently, the people were destroyed and taken and dispersed. We know it all too well, the cycle of apostasy over the ages. They had to wait long time before the Lord would raise them another goodly prophet or teacher.

It is not so, nowadays. Today as always, we have the luxury to fall into apostasy individually and collectively if we chose to do so and be lost or perish of hunger or thirst for like fish in a river of water, but our teachers and the work of God remains and will go on with or without us boldly and nobly even if only our leaders remain to teach the snakes, lizards and scorpions if needs be.

The above cited scriptures are being fulfilled before our own eyes. The tokens are present, the signs follow behind those that have faith. For God ceases not to be a God of miracles. But it is not enough just to like and comment here or there. We need to reach out and pass the gift and flood the earth with truth and amplify so all may hear as if we were transistor radios. For everyone that has been admonished needs to admonish his neighbor.

·         Doctrine and Covenants 88:81

Behold, I sent you out to testify and warn the people, and it becometh every man who hath been warned to warn his neighbor.

·         Doctrine and Covenants 38:41

And let your preaching be the warning voice, every man to his neighbor, in mildness and in meekness.

My faith has increased to day and as you see I am engaged. The Lord said the things that you see me do, do you also in my church. Every member a missionary is not just a nice and wonderful phrase. It is a commission and a command to action even if we do not know much, we know enough. Let not your fears of making mistakes or of being rejected rule over you. The Lord's grace will attend you. He declared in our day by decree that we need to take truth and justice or righteousness in our own hand.

"And that every man should take righteousness in his hands and faithfulness upon his loins, and lift a warning voice unto the inhabitants of the earth; and declare both by word and by flight that desolation shall come upon the wicked."

"For behold, it is not meet that I should command in all things; for he that is compelled in all things, the same is a slothful and not a wise servant; wherefore he receiveth no reward.

Verily I say, men should be anxiously engaged in a good cause, and do many things of their own free will, and bring to pass much righteousness; for the power is in them, wherein they are agents unto themselves. And inasmuch as men do good they shall in nowise lose their reward."

"For thus saith the Lord, I will cut my work short in righteousness, for the days come that I will send forth judgment unto victory."

"Now this is the commandment: Repent, all ye ends of the earth, and come unto me and be baptized in my name, that ye may be sanctified by the reception of the Holy Ghost, that ye may stand spotless before me at the last day.

Verily, verily, I say unto you, this is my gospel; and ye know the things that ye must do in my church; for the works which ye have seen me do that shall ye also do; for that which ye have seen me do even that shall ye do. Therefore, if ye do these things blessed are ye, for ye shall be lifted up at the last day."

Now you have seen how the simple yet powerful words of the Shepherd, elder Packer have fallen like yeast in my flour sac and incremented. Now if you have oil in your sacs you can make bread to feed some five thousand. This is how the Lord made the two stinking fish and the five loads of bread feed multitudes. The apostles and prophets are the fish, and the Scriptures or the word of God are the bread of life. Go and do you like wise, if you love the Lord like elder packer, you will feed the Lord's sheep and his lambs.

As you have seen this day, if you feast upon the words of Chirst, you can also speak with the voice of agels, for the words of Christ will tell you what to do. All we need is to open our mouth and the Lord will fill it up. Our religion is not merely historical, it is applied science. The Lord seeks not only hearers but doers. And you can have lots of fun too in the journey.

Who wants to have someone to shut the door at your face? Or what is better, to have a door shut in your face or not to have a door opened to you ever. Its not our work but the work of God. All must hear the message, but only a few will accept it. Overcome your fears of falling or failing. The challenge is not in failing or falling, but how soon you get back up. Once you know that you've stood on your feet at least once, you can always get up. We shouted for joy in heaven for these challenges. I would not miss it for anything, for we allways get up stronger till we are like the prophets who rise up until they cannot yield or fall no more like if they were disabled to sin no more because they are planted over the rock of eternity, even Jesus Christ, upon which if we all climb like them, we would never fall.
"And now, my sons, remember, remember that it is upon the rock of our Redeemer, who is Christ, the Son of God, that ye must build your foundation; that when the devil shall send forth his mighty winds, yea, his shafts in the whirlwind, yea, when all his hail and his mighty storm shall beat upon you, it shall have no power over you to drag you down to the gulf of misery and endless wo, because of the rock upon which ye are built, which is a sure foundation, a foundation whereon if men build they cannot fall."

"Wherefore, I am in your midst, and I am the good shepherd, and the stone of Israel. He that buildeth upon this rock shall never fall.

And the day cometh that you shall hear my voice and see me, and know that I am.
Watch, therefore, that ye may be ready. Even so. Amen."

Helaman 5:11,12

 Good Night

These things I say humbly in the sacred name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Attentively Yours from an unworthy servant in the hands of Christ.
