"For the LORD shall rise up as in mount Perazim, he shall be wroth as in the valley of Gibeon"
For thus hath the LORD spoken unto me, Like as the lion and the young lion roaring on his prey, when a multitude of shepherds is called forth against him, he will not be afraid of their voice, nor abase himself for the noise of them: so shall the LORD of hosts come down to fight for mount Zion, and for the hill thereof. As birds flying, so will the LORD of hosts defend Jerusalem; defending also he will deliver it; and passing over he will preserve it.
(Old Testament Isaiah 31:4 - 5)
If the Lord is with us, who can contend against us? With one, with few or with many The Lord God of Israel will always prevail and accomplished all his intended purposes. The solicitation of one like unto the son of man was answered in the nick of time. Yesterday, I even put on my Arizona strange underwear and ate beans to blow away by and by and to flush as dung their foul decrees. And by the prayers of the saints and the faithful, the obnoxious and oppressive laws against his people will be disannulled, and their secret agreements of the evildoers will not stand. But the hole that was dug up for the people of the Lord will be filled with those that did make it. They will fall like ashes smashed under foot until they gash out when the overflowing scourge passes by. I have seen and touched their bones barely buried under the sand. These evildoers have failed in their macabre intent to seek gain enslaving the strangers. They will fall into their own snares to the ground like evil seeds until they desist; or until they are overcome; or they are forced to sue for peace.
And every nation which shall war against thee, O house of Israel, shall be turned one against another, and they shall fall into the pit which they digged to ensnare the people of the Lord. And all that fight against Zion shall be destroyed, and that great whore, who hath perverted the right ways of the Lord, yea, that great and abominable church, shall tumble to the dust and great shall be the fall of it. For behold, saith the prophet, the time cometh speedily that Satan shall have no more power over the hearts of the children of men; for the day soon cometh that all the proud and they who do wickedly shall be as stubble; and the day cometh that they must be burned. For the time soon cometh that the fulness of the wrath of God shall be poured out upon all the children of men; for he will not suffer that the wicked shall destroy the righteous. Wherefore, he will preserve the righteous by his power, even if it so be that the fulness of his wrath must come, and the righteous be preserved, even unto the destruction of their enemies by fire. Wherefore, the righteous need not fear; for thus saith the prophet, they shall be saved, even if it so be as by fire.
Behold, my brethren, I say unto you, that these things must shortly come; yea, even blood, and fire, and vapor of smoke must come; and it must needs be upon the face of this earth; and it cometh unto men according to the flesh if it so be that they will harden their hearts against the Holy One of Israel.
For behold, the righteous shall not perish; for the time surely must come that all they who fight against Zion shall be cut off. And the Lord will surely prepare a way for his people, unto the fulfilling of the words of Moses, which he spake, saying: A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you. And it shall come to pass that all those who will not hear that prophet shall be cut off from among the people.
(Book of Mormon 1 Nephi 22:14 - 20)
Therefoore, hear me, hear me you Arch devil; and also you, illustrious Jezebel. I am not discouraged, nor dismayed; I will not rest until your poisonous neckties are under my feet and deposed as dung. And I saw your exile to your hiding place under the stones. I tried to council you to desist of your wicked works. But you would not listen, for you do not want to be healed of your harlotry. I have seen your departure gate already; and also your one way departure ticket in hand. But worry not, for you are not the only one. You and your miserable company are going down with you to wail your utter failure.
Wherefore hear the word of the LORD, ye scornful men, that rule this people which is in JERUSALEM. Because ye have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves: Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste.
Judgment also will I lay to the line, and righteousness to the plummet: and the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters shall overflow the hiding place. And your covenant with death shall be disannulled, and your agreement with hell shall not stand; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, then ye shall be trodden down by it. From the time that it goeth forth it shall take you: for morning by morning shall it pass over, by day and by night: and it shall be a vexation only to understand the report. or the bed is shorter than that a man can stretch himself on it: and the covering narrower than that he can wrap himself in it. For the LORD shall rise up as in mount Perazim, he shall be wroth as in the valley of Gibeon, that he may do his work, his strange work; and bring to pass his act, his strange act.
Now therefore be ye not mockers, lest your bands be made strong: for I have heard from the Lord GOD of hosts a consumption, even determined upon the whole earth.
Give ye ear, and hear my voice; hearken, and hear my speech. Doth the plowman plow all day to sow? doth he open and break the clods of his ground? When he hath made plain the face thereof, doth he not cast abroad the fitches, and scatter the cummin, and cast in the principal wheat and the appointed barley and the rie in their place? For his God doth instruct him to discretion, and doth teach him. For the fitches are not threshed with a threshing instrument, neither is a cart wheel turned about upon the cummin; but the fitches are beaten out with a staff, and the cummin with a rod. Bread corn is bruised; because he will not ever be threshing it, nor break it with the wheel of his cart, nor bruise it with his horsemen. This also cometh forth from the LORD of hosts, which is wonderful in counsel, and excellent in working.
(Old Testament Isaiah 28:14 - 29)
The lion has roared who will not fear, the lord has spoken, who can but prophesy? For nothing will do the Lord without first revealing his secrets to his servants the prophets.
